The First Vietnamese Startup Featured in NTU’s Teaching Materials (Singapore)

SALADIN
·

In January 2025, Saladin proudly marked a very special milestone: becoming the first Vietnamese startup selected for inclusion in the Asia Business Case (ABC) – a prestigious business case library in Asia, used in the International MBA (IMBA) program at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore.

This achievement is not only a source of pride for Saladin, but also a meaningful step forward for the Vietnamese startup community on the global academic and innovation map.

NTU – A Top 15 University Worldwide and a Prestigious IMBA Program

Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is one of Asia’s and the world’s leading universities, ranked 15th globally in the 21st edition of the QS World University Rankings.

The International MBA program at NTU is renowned for its modern approach, blending theory with real-world case studies from regional businesses. Its goal is to enhance analytical capabilities and strategic thinking for students from many different countries.

Saladin’s selection as an official case study in this program further reinforces confidence in its strategic direction, built on:

  • A unique vision in Vietnam’s insurtech sector.
  • A sustainable startup model with strong growth potential.
  • Innovation in applying technology to make insurance more accessible.

Hearing International Perspectives on Saladin’s Startup Journey

Alongside this milestone, on January 19, 2025, Ms. Vivien Lê – CEO of Saladin – was invited to serve as a guest judge at an MBA case competition hosted by the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH).

At the event, international MBA student teams presented and analyzed the Saladin case study from multiple perspectives, including:

  • Risk management and growth strategy.
  • Scalability of the business model across regional markets.
  • Technology applications in improving insurance user experience.

Vivien shared:

“I was truly impressed by the way the students approached the issues, asking very in-depth questions and offering a global perspective. This was not just an evaluation session, but also a valuable opportunity for Saladin to listen and learn from the next generation of leaders.”
